It is helpful for your customers to be able to easily understand the charges they see on their bank account. Typically, it helps them confirm those were authorized and avoid accidental [disputes](/en-us/payments/process-online-payments/disputes-and-chargebacks). What your customers will see displayed for payments collected by you on their bank statements is called your "statement descriptor". You can review & edit it directly from your payment account (Stripe Express) [settings here](https://connect.stripe.com/express_login#settings) in the *public details* section: Note that your statement descriptor must meet the following requirements: * latin characters only * between 5 & 22 characters, inclusive * at least one letter * does not contain the following characters: \<, >, , ', ", \* * reflects your "Doing Business As" (DBA) name
