# Hide invoices from collection & payments
> Hide specific invoices from Upflow customer portals, reminders, outstanding balances and account statements to pause collection on individual items.
You don't want to chase a specific invoice? Hide it from your customers.
## What is the impact of hiding an invoice?
When an invoice is hidden, it is no longer visible to your customers. No action will be triggered for those invoices, and they won't be included in your customers' outstanding amounts or used for payments, nor displayed in their [account statements](/en-us/customer-portal/customer-portal/download-your-account-statement).
Still, you will be able to see those invoices, and they will still be considered in your organization's analytics.
Related entities like payments and credit notes will also be hidden from your customers.
You will see a banner on the invoice details page for each hidden invoice.
In addition, those invoices will have a hidden icon next to them in the list views.
## How to hide/show invoices
Today, you can hide/show invoices from the invoice details page and the invoice list view via bulk actions. An invoice can be hidden, whatever its status, and if you decide to show it, then the same status will be used.
